The Sherlocks Interview and Photos

Hey!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen The Sugarmill as full (on a Monday?!) as I saw it on the 22nd for The Sherlocks! Since touring with The Courteeners at The Victoria Hall, The Sherlocks gained an even bigger following from Stoke and the support for the band was lovely to see! The lads seemed shocked that so many people had turned up, however, I know that Stoke have big love for the Sheffield lads (who doesn’t?).

The support acts for the evening were a stunning selection. First up was The Gurus, who always kick off a gig amazingly and get everyone pumped for a great night. Followed by Exowaves, another of our local bands! And finally, April, a band from Warwickshire who put on a brilliant set!

The Sherlocks set was absolutely extraordinary – it’s definitely the best gig I’ve photographed with regards to atmosphere! What’s really nice about photographing gigs is that you can see why people create and perform music. The Sherlocks perform with so much passion and love for music with a need to express themselves and their experiences, however, still have so much fun with it! After all, the band are just friends and brothers!

Huge thank you to The Sherlocks and their supports for an absolutely class night, here’s the interview that I completed with the Sherlocks (images below): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpZmI-aDI0c

Thanks for reading!

Bethan xx
