Hey!

11 weeks ago I made a decision that I’d been toying with for a while – to set up a blog.

Initially, it was simply a platform on which I would be able to express my views and share my experiences with you – gigs, playlists, reviews etc.

In 11 weeks, this blog has become so much more than an outlet to me.

In 11 weeks I have received over 3800 views on my page, which averages to 50 per day – this might not seem like a lot to you, but it is to me! Never did I think that my blog would be so popular in its early stages and I honestly cannot wait for it to grow even more.

February holds a lot of exciting prospects for me not only as an aspiring journalist, but as a music enthusiast and individual in my own right.

The thought of going out to gigs to interview bands like The Sherlocks and Sisteray, and to be able to attend events like the Music Awards of Staffordshire and get involved with our local music scene is absolutely exhilarating.

My dream is becoming a reality sooner than I thought.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you that have viewed my blog at one point or another – whether it be once, or twice, or every post! I appreciate the support immensely.

I also want to thank the lovely people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with since establishing myself as a blogger/photographer – you’ve been amazing. I couldn’t imagine doing anything other than this now. Further into the year I’m going to compile a list of accreditation to all those who I have been privileged enough to work with.
